Our Workshops are hands-on, interactive and fun for people of all ages.
Suitable for any event at any time of year. With over 20 years of experience in running workshops we guarantee entertainment, excitement and a full range of skills to play with.
Workshop styles
Informal: a ‘drop-in’ style, where the participants have a free reign to try out any of the equipment available under supervision and led by professional instructors. You can drop in and out of the workshop, trying out games for a few minutes at a time or you can stay as long as you like. This form is ideal for community events, school fun-days, as an attraction at your event, at a birthday party.
Focused: a more structured workshop, working through a set of new skills with professional and experienced instructors to support and guide you. This form allows rapid rewards – in a few minutes you will be improving your hand-to-eye co-ordination, your reaction times, concentration skills and laughing a lot.
We programme and theme workshops depending on what you’d like to learn:
you can set a goal – fun, play, better teamworking, co-operative playing,
peer-to-peer skill sharing, taking risks, creating a short show.
We can tailor-make a workshop for you.
We suggest 1 tutor to 15 people for focused workshops, but can accommodate up to 40 people in a drop-in environment.
Circus is not just for kids! We deliver workshops for families, for adults, for older people, for companies.
Our workshops are ideal for people getting to know each other, for groups trying to work better together, for people with diverse cultural backgrounds and different language sets – circus is international and does not require English as a first language!
We also deliver workshops for SEN groups or groups with special needs.
Although a lot of our work is delivered in traditional Jester, historical form we also perform in suits and modern attire
Equipment provided: diabolos, devil sticks, juggling balls and clubs and scarves, spinning plates, hula hoop,pedal-gos, hats, balancing feathers, hand held stilts.
